We’re Vlad, Jessica, and Sophie. We admire the courage and love it takes to consider choosing a family to love and raise your baby in an open adoption. Thank you for reading our letter! We hope that reading about our family inspires you to find out more about us and allows us to learn about you.

We live in Oakland, CA near San Francisco.  We love our diverse community and the countless opportunities to enjoy the nearby mountains, ocean, and city life, and the beautiful California sunshine. Most of all, our close friends and nearby family make this a great place to raise our family.

About Us 

We met in college and have been together ever since. We have been married for 18 years and still celebrate the anniversaries of our first date and our wedding each year! We are excited to grow our family through open adoption. Our daughter Sophie looks forward to loving and playing with a new baby. She will be a devoted and caring big sister.   We are all ready to welcome a new baby to snuggle and love and share first words, first steps, and other milestones together.
